GET YOUR COLOR ON!!!! Promo Code Included!

Someone told me that I would be hooked on races after my first ever race earlier this month. Well, they were right. I am now hooked! Guess what? I am running playing, in the Color Me Rad 5k with my four kids and husband, on October 5th at Michigan State University in Lansing, MI. I don't know who is more excited, me or my kids? Why? Because the color runs are a blast!
Color Yourself Even Radder!
I kept seeing all these ads for the Color Me Rad race on Facebook and decided to look at it. Dang it looks awesome! There are races all over the U.S., Canada and even internationally. It's a real color run. Everything I have read has been a great promotion. Whoever wrote their information has a good sense of humor. So obviously that helped entice me more. The race is also family friendly. If you have a 7yr old or younger, they get to run for free! What kid doesn't like to play with colors and get messy?
Looking at their online store, I found some really "rad" merchandise you can order. They have sunglasses (totally needed. Wish I knew about them before my first race), bandanas, socks (in four different colors), totally rad eye blacks, tees and so much more.

Let me recap for ya; you get to play in colors while exercising, wear some funky cool merchandise, hang with your family for some fun, and/or meet up with friends. What could be better then that?

How about saving money on your registration?!
If you register between Monday, July 29th - Wednesday, July 31, you can use this code: radfun to save 20% off your registration fee. Even more good news...the code is good for any race that isn't sold out yet.

So where are the races? All over! There's oodles of locations; Fort Wayne, San Francisco, Vancouver, Tulsa, Dallas, Vegas, Tampa, Columbus...Even Korea and Taiwan. When I looked I found there's one just 45 minutes from me in Lansing, Michigan and bonus, on the Michigan State University campus. Are you asking so what?

Well let me tell you... My son and I are huge MSU fans (even though I attend UM). My parents met at MSU and that's where my father received his degree. Even better, my other son is playing a soccer game against a Lansing team, and being team manager, I have requested the game to be played after I compete in the run. Oh yeah, and I've requested that the whole team sign up to do it! How cool would that be? The team runs at 9:40 then goes to play their soccer game all colored up. Rad, right?

Come on now, you know you want to get out there and have some fun. As someone who never competed in a race before, but did a color run as her first, I highly recommend breaking yourself in this way. Seriously, it's so much fun to get all colored and say "I did it!"

And I know a lot of you that read my blog, follow me on IG, FB, Twitter and are members of Fit Approach, Sweat Pink and Girls Gone Sporty are into races, so why not sign up?! How can you resist especially with 20% off: radfun
